DIGITAL LITERACY OUTREACH
- Developed 5 digital learning modules for Sr. Citizens in community who were hit the hardest as Economies became digital and the community of senior citizens struggled to adapt.
- Used my technology skills to formulate five digital learning modules for them which included the basics of internet, the use of WhatsApp to connect with others through video calls and audio messages, lessons on making payments through online platforms, downloading newspaper apps and ordering grocery online
- This initiative made them more independent and not suffer for daily necessities as well as gave them opportunity to entertain them when locked in four walls during pandemic.
COVID 19 OUTREACH
- Contributed to fight against Covid 19 Pandemic - Participated in a crowdfunding campaign with Habitat for humanity Alpha Urban project.
- Responsibility as campaign manager for managing a eam of 15 people for a month. This involved monitoring their progress and guiding them, resolving their queries during the fund-raising process.
- Raised amount of USD 3200 which was then donated for the purpose of making kits that contained food and sanitary items for underprivileged people who depend on daily income.
- Additionally, undertook initiative of buying face masks from a Women Self Help Group and distributing the masks, sanitizers to street vegetable vendors, needy people like liftmen and auto drivers.
